Oatmeal Waffles

1 1/2 C flour
1 C rolled oats
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 C milk
6 Tbsp butter, melted (or oil)
2 Tbsp brown sugar

In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder and soda, cinnamon and salt, set aside. In a small mixing bowl, stir together eggs, milk, butter and brown sugar. Add to flour mixture; stir until blended. Pour batter into grids of preheated, lightly greased waffle iron. Cook til golden bown.
Makes 4 large waffles. We usually double this.
